KURAKARAN KUDUMBAYOGAM 43rd ANNUAL MEETING
 
 


43rd annual festival of the Kurakar Valiyaveettil Kudumbayogam was held on 29th December,2012 at Kizhakketheruve, newly build Kurakaran auditorium. Advocate P. Ishapotti, MLA inaugurated the annual meeting. Prof. John Kurakar, chief Editor welcomed the chief guests and gatherings. Mr. Kurakaran A.C Thomas, president of the Kudumbayogam presided. The meeting was begun at 10 am with prayer by Rev. Fr. O.Thomas. Prof. Abraham Elanjickal, Mr. Neelaswaram Sadasivan, Mrs. Chinnamma John spoke on the occasion. Mr. George Achenkunju, General secretary of the Kudumbayogam presented the annual report of the association. Mrs. Animon Thomas, secretary of the Women’s Association  presented the annual report of women’s association Mrs. Gracy Kutty John and Mrs Sali Rajy also presented the report of the Ayppalloor and Andoopoika units reports.
 The co-ordination committee of the family to felicitate Mr. Kochummen, Sr. Member of Padinjare veedu valakom withg ponnada. The committee also felicitates Mr. Koshy Kizhakkedathu, Advocate Alex Mathew and Mr. Alexander for their meritorious service for the society. After the lunch the cultural programme was started at 2 pm. Droup dances, Group songs, single songs and recitation are included in the cultural events. The business meeting was at 3 pm. Mr. Anil John (Ernakulam) Mr. Thomas George, Mr. Reji P. Oommen, Mr. Thomas P. Malacky Mr. P.A Alex, Mrs Chinnamma John, Mrs Omana Lukose and Mrs Mariamma Jacob spoke on the occasion. Mr. K Alexander presented newly prepared office bearers panel in the general body meeting. The meeting unanimously approved the panel. The award distribution function was at 3 .30 pm. More than 100 awards distributed. Merit awards, Education awards, Cultural Awards, Agricultural awards and Kurakaran Women’s Awards included. The valedictory meeting of the annual festival was 4 pm Mr. Bobby Kurakar expressed vote of thanks. The meeting was concluded at 4.15 pm with prayer.
