CHEKKALAZHIKATHU SALEM VEETTIL KUNJAMMA AMACHI

Kottarakara Ayppalloor Chekkalazhikathu Salem veettil  Kunjamma Chacko Ammachi,(Rtd Head Mistress) wife of late Kurakkaran K. Chacko died on 1^st November,2012. She was 93. She is surviving three sons K.C Mathew, K.C Samuel and K.C Abraham and a daughter K.C Sosamma. In laws: Kunjamma, Annamma, A.L Leela and Nelson.- Ammachi’s sons Mr. K.C Samuel and K.C Abraham is the executive members of the Kurakaran Valiyaveettil Kudumbayogam.  Ammachi’s husband  Late Mr.  Kurakaran  K. Chacko was the Organizing secretary of Kurakaran Kudumbayogam.

Ammachi’s body placed at his house for the near and dear to pay their last respects on 4th November. Hundreds from all sections of the society paid their last respects. The last journey from home began by 12.30 am on 4^th November.  Special funeral prayer at her house was lead by church Vicar and other priests of the various churches. Among those who paid their last respects to Ammachi on Sunday, include Mr Kurakaran A.C Thomas, President Kudumba yogam, , Prof.John Kurakar,President, Kerala Kavya Kala Sahithi,, Mr. Varghese Kurakar, Mr. Bobby Kurakar, Mr. P.G Achen Kunju, Mr. T Abraham, K.C George, T.K George, Jacob Mathew Kurakaran, PMG Kurakaran, Prof. Molly Kurakar and other Kudumba yogam members, political leaders and social workers. The funeral was at  Uliyanadu St. George Bethel Church on 4^th November,2012  at 1 pm. Kurakaran Kudumbayogam was arranged a condolence meeting at Karickom padinjare veedu. Mr A.C Thomas presided over the meeting. The Kudumbayogam president said Mr. Ammachi’s demise was great loss to the Kurakkaran family
