Kottarakara Padinjaretheruve Puthenveettil Kurakaran G. Thankachan died on 21st June,2010.He was78.He was the former managing committee member of the orthodox church and members of executive committee of the Kurakaran Valiya veettil Kudumbayogan Puthenveedu branch.
He was buried at the Belivers church, Kunakkara at 11 am on 22nd June. He is survived by his wife Aleyamma, Member of Kuraakaran Valiyaveedu and a son Anil and four daughters Aani, Mariyamma, Achamma and Ambili.
Hundreads of people from the different walks of life paid them last respects. Kurakaran Family Association Members paid their last respects and participated the funeral functions in his home and church. Prof . John Kurakar, Sri K.C. George, Mr G. Joy, Thomas Kurakar, Kunjumon thomas,Varghese Kurakar, Mr V.A Alex, P.M.G Kurakar, Sri A.C Thomas,K.Kunjappy were participated the funeral function.
