 കൊട്ടാരക്കര കിഴക്കെതെരുവ്‌ പിണറുവിളയില്‍ കുരാക്കാരന്‍ പി.സി. ജേക്കബ്‌സാര്‍ 22 മെയ്‌ വൈകുന്നേരം മൂന്ന്‍മണിക്ക് അന്തരിച്ചു . കുരാക്കാരന്‍ വലിയ വീട്ടില്‍ കുടുംബയോഗത്തിന്റെ വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ്‌ , കുടുംബ ചരിത്ര ജനറല്‍ കണ്‍ വീനര്‍ , കുടുംബദീപം എഡിറ്റോറിയല്‍ ബോര്‍ഡ്‌ അംഗം, കുരാക്കാരന്‍ സാംസ്‌കാരിക വേദി പ്രസിഡന്റ്‌, എന്നീ നിലകളില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട് .. ദീഘ കാലം അധ്യാപകനായി സേവനമനുഷ്ടിച്ച ജേക്കബ്‌ സാര്‍ ഒരു സാമുഹിക പ്രവര്‍ത്തകന്‍ കൂടിയായിരുന്നു. കുടുംബയോഗത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യകാല സജീവ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകനും ജോയിന്റ് സെക്രടറി ആയിരുന്ന ഇദ്ദേഹം കുറവിലങ്ങാട് ശങ്കുരിക്കല്‍ വലിയ വീടും മറ്റു സാംസ്‌കാരിക കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളും സന്ദര്‍ശിച്ചു പഠനം നടത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഭാര്യ വൈ. മറിയാമ്മ കൊട്ടറ കിഴക്കേവീട്ടില്‍ കുടുംബന്ഗമാണ്. മക്കള്‍ സുശീല ജേക്കബ്‌(സബ് ഡിവിഷണല്‍ എന്‍ജിനിയര്‍ , സന്തോഷ്‌ ജേക്കബ്‌ഡപ്യുട്ടി  ജനറല്‍ മാനജേര്‍  എല്‍ ക്കോ  ടെക്നോളജി , ദീപ ജേക്കബ്‌(അധ്യാപിക  .  സംസ്ക്കാരം   മെയ്‌  23 നു  ബുധനാഴ്ച  വൈകിട്ട്  നാല്  മണിക്ക്  കിഴ്ക്കെതെരുവ് പട്ടമല   സെന്റ്‌  ജോര്‍ജ്  ഓര്‍ത്തഡോക്‍സ്‌ വലിയ  പള്ളിയില്‍നടന്നു  . അഭിവന്യ  യുഹാനോന്‍  മാര്‍  തെവോ തോറാസ് തിരുമേനി,അഭിവന്യ  ജോസഫ്‌ മാര്‍ ദിവന്നാസിയോസ്  തിരുമേനി  എന്നിവര്‍   പ്രധാന  കാര്‍മ്മികത്വം വഹിച്ചു . ഇരുപതിലധികം  വൈദീകര്‍  ശവസംസ്ക്കാര  പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനയില്‍  പങ്കെടുത്തു . പള്ളിയീലെക്കുള്ള  വിലാപ യാത്ര  മൂന്നു  മണിക്ക് തന്നെ   ആരംഭിച്ചു .. വീട്ടില്‍  എത്തി അന്ത്യോപചാരം  അര്‍പ്പിച്ചവരില്‍  അഭിവന്യ  ജോഷ്വ  മാര്‍ ഇഗ്നാത്തിയോസ്  തിരുമേനി , കുരാക്കാരന്‍ വലിയ വീട്ടില്‍  കുടുംബയോഗം  പ്രസിഡണ്ട്‌  കുരാക്കാരന്‍ എ.സി  തോമസ് , കേരള കാവ്യ കലാ സാഹിതി പ്രസിഡണ്ട്‌  പ്രൊഫ്. ജോണ്‍  കുരാക്കാര്‍ , കുരാക്കാരന്‍ വിമന്‍സ് അസോസിയേഷന്‍ പ്രസിഡണ്ട്‌ ചിന്നമ്മ ജോണ്‍ , കെ. സി  ശാമുവേല്‍ , കെ. സി  ജോര്‍ജ് , പി.എം .ജി  കുരാക്കാരന്‍ , ബോബി കുരാക്കാര്‍ ,കുരാക്കാരന്‍ രാജന്‍ ബാബു , കുരാക്കാരന്‍ സാംസ്ക്കാരിക വേദി  പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ , വിവിധ കോളേജ് പ്രൊഫസര്‍മാര്‍, ഡോക്ടര്‍മാര്‍ , അധ്യാപകര്‍, രാഷ്ട്രീയ  നേതാക്കള്‍ , വ്യവസായികള്‍ , വൈദീകര്‍ , വിവിധ സമുദായ  നേതാക്കള്‍  തുടങ്ങി  ജീവിതത്തിന്‍റെ വിവിധ മേഖലകളില്‍  പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നവര്‍  ഉള്‍പെടുന്നു . പള്ളിയില്‍ വച്ചു  നടന്ന  അനുശോചന  യോഗത്തില്‍  നിരവധി  രാഷ്ട്രീയ  നേതാക്കള്‍ സംസാരിച്ചു . ക്ടുംബയോഗത്തിന്  വേണ്ടി പ്രൊഫ്. ജോണ്‍ കുരാക്കാര്‍  പ്രസംഗിച്ചു .ജേക്കബ്‌  സാറിന്  കുരാക്കാരന്‍ കുടുംബയോഗത്തിന്റെ കണ്ണുനീരില്‍ കുതിര്‍ന്ന  ആദരാഞ്ജലികള്‍

Kizhakketheruve Ayppalloor Chekkalizhakathu Salem Veettil Kurakaran K.C Jacob passed away on 23^rd April, 2012. He was 70. He was electrician for several years. He is survived by his wife Gracy Kutty(Punaloor Kalarickal Family) and son Leni, daughter Mini. He was buried at St. George Bethel Orthodox Church Uliyanadu on 24^th April at 11.30pm. Hundreds of people from the different walks of life paid him last respects. Mr.  K.C Jacob’s body placed his house for the near and dear to pay their last respects. The last journey from home by 11. A.m. The Funeral prayers at church lead by Parish Vicar and other priests and church leaders.

Kottarakara, Karickom Kaleeckal Puthen Veettil Kurakaran G. Georgekutty Passed away on 20thApril afternoon, 2012.He was 75. He was admitted to hospital a few days ago with a minor stroke. He was an executive member of Kurakaran Valiyaveetil Kudumbayogam. He is survived by two sons Babu George (Dubai) and Sabu Geroge (Chief electrician) and a daughter Salikutty (Gujarat) His wife Mariamma died earlier. The funeral is being planned for, Tuesday . May god bless his soul.

He was buried at Salem St. George Church Ayppalloor on 24^th April at 11.30pm. Hundreds of people from the different walks of life paid him last respects. Mr. George Achyan’s  body placed his house for the near and dear to pay their last respects. The last journey from home by 11. A.m. The Funeral prayers at church lead by Parish Vicar, Rev.Fr Y.S Geevarghese, Rev. Fr. Reji Lukose, Rev. Fr Panicker, Rev. Fr. Johnson and other church leaders.

The Executive Committee meeting of the kurakaran Valiyaveettil Kudumbayogam was held at Kizhakketheruve Vettickattu Veedu on 15^th April,2012 at 3.30 pm. Mr V.K Sabu, Vetticatt house welcomed the members.Mr Kurakaran A.C Thomas, President of the Kurakaran Kudumba yogam presided.Mr. Jacob Mathew Kurakaran presented the report.Mr P.M.G Kurakaran and Mr Bobby Kurakar presented the report and statement of accounts of the construction of Kudumbayogan Auditorium. Prof. John Kurakar, Mr. K.C Samuel addressed the function Mr.K.C George expressed vote of thanks. The function was concluded with prayer at 5.30 pm.

Kottarakara, Lower Karickom Poomthottathil Kurakkaran P.O John died on 8^th April, 2012.He was 83. He was the Advisory board member of the Divya Bodana Unit of Kurakaran Valiyaveetil Kudumbayogam. He was unmarried. Kurakaran C.O Malakhy,Mr C.O Thomas, (Rtd Head Master), P.O David ( Rtd Teacher), Mr. Alex Kurakaran ( Rtd Treasury Officer), Mr. Jacob P. Oommen (Manager ,S.B.T,Ramavarmapuram) are brothers and Mrs. Annamma, Mrs. Gracy,(Teacher), Esther (Head mistress), P.O Aleyamma, Mrs. P.O Mary kutty, P.O Rebecca are sisters. Mr. P.O John published several biblical articles in’ Kudumba Deepam and other family journals. P.O John’s body placed at his house for the near and dear to pay their last respects .Hundreds from all sections of the society paid their last respects. The last journey from home began by 2p.m. Special funeral prayers at his house were lead by Bishop T. C Cheriyan, Evangelical church of India other priests of the various churches. Among those who paid their last respects to P.O John as Monday include Mr Kurakaran A.C Thomas, President Kudumba yogam, , ProfJohn Kurakar, President, Kerala Kavya Kala Sahithi,, Mr. Bobby Kurakar, Mr. P.G Achen Kunju, P.M.G Kurakar, Mr. K. Kunjappan, P.A Alex, Mr. T Abraham and other political and social leaders. The funeral was at St. Thomas Evangelical church, Uliyanadu at 2.30 p.m on9th April, 2012. Kurakaran Kudumba yogam was arranged a condolence meeting at Karickom padinjare veedu. Mr A.C Thomas presided over the meeting. The Kudumbayogam president said Mr. P.O John’s demise was great loss to the Kurakkaran family.

Lower Karickom Poomthottathil Sosamma Amachi, wife of late Kurakkaran Koshy Oomman died on 22^nd March,2012. She was 90. She is surviving three sons P.O David (Rtd Teacher), Mr. Alex Kurakkaran,(Rtd Tresurary Officer) and Mr.Jacob P. Oomman

( Manager, S.B.T, Ramavarma puram,Perumbavoor) and six daughters P.O Annamma, P.O Gracy (Rtd Teacher) P.O Easthel, P.O Aleyamma, P.O Mary Kutty, P.O Rebacca. In laws:-Mr. Geevarghese(Rtd DSO),Mr. A.M Mathew(Rtd Agriculture Officer), Mr. K.J John(Rtd Vigilence Officer) Mrs. K.V Laila (Rtd Health Supervisor) Mariamma Mathew (Rtd Teacher), Mr. P.L Mathew (Rtd Police Officer), Mr. K.G George, and Dr. M. Leelamma, Professor, Marthoma Women’s College Perumbavoor. Ammachi’s sons Mr. P.O David and Mr. Alex Kurakkaran is the Executive member of the Kurakaran Valiyaveettil Kudumba yogam, “Kudumba Deepam” publication and Kottarakara College Alumni Association.

Ammachi’s body placed at his house for the near and dear to pay their last respects on 22^nd March,2012. Hundreds from all sections of the society paid their last respects. The last journey from home began by 11.30 am on 23^rd March.. Special funeral prayers at her house were lead by church Vicar and other priests of the various churches. Among those who paid their last respects to Ammachi on Friday, 23rd, include Mr Kurakaran A.C Thomas, President Kudumba yogam, , Prof.John Kurakar,President, Kerala Kavya Kala Sahithi,, Mr. Varghese Kurakar, Mr. Bobby Kurakar, Mr. P.G Achen Kunju, Mr. T Abraham and other Kudumba yogam members, political leaders and social workers. The funeral was at Salem St. Geroge Orthodox Church, Ayppalloor on 23^rd at 12.30 p.m. Rev. Fr. Y.S Geevarghese, Vicar of the church, Rev. Fr. Johnson and Rev. Fr. Geevarghese Kunju kunju lead the special funeral prayers. Kurakaran Kudumbayogam was arranged a condolence meeting at Karickom padinjare veedu. Mr A.C Thomas presided over the meeting. The Kudumbayogam president said Mr. Ammachi’s demise was great loss to the Kurakkaran family.

Pathanapuram Valiyaveetil Kurakaran V.A George died on 30th January 2012. He was 76 age. He is survived by his wife Susy, two daughter Beena, Bindhu and sons Benoy and Bence. The Funeral was held at Kottarakara Kizhakketheruve Kurakaran Valiya veetil family vault on 31st January 2012 at 12pm.

The last journey started from St.Bendict catholic church Karavallur at 10am. Hundreds of peoples participated in the funeral prayers at his home and parish. Kurakaran family members participated in the funeral function.
