TRIBUTE TO PUNALUR MUSSARIKUNNU SALEM VEETTIL PAUL KURAKARAN

Punalur Mussarikunnu Salem veettil Paul Kurakaran died on 27th June,2010.He was 44. He wrote many articles and poems related to Bible and current subjects.His articles were published in Kudumba Deepam. He was buried at St. George Orthdox church, Valakodu, Punalur at 3 pm on 28th June. He is survived by his father K.C Alexander(Station Master-Rtd, Indian Rail way),mother Kunjuoonjamma and two brothers C A Thomas (TVM) C.A Jacob and a sister C.A Annamma.

Kurakaran Valiya veettil Kudumba yogam president Mr A.C Thomas, Former Secreatary Prof.John Kurakar,Secretary MrVarghese Kurakar and Tresurer Mr Thomas Kurakar were participated his funeral functions held in his home and church. The Kurakaran Family expressed their grief.

TRIBUTE TO PUTHENVEETTIL KURAKARAN G. THANKACHEN



Kottarakara Padinjaretheruve Puthenveettil Kurakaran G. Thankachan died on 21st June,2010.He was78.He was the former managing committee member of the orthodox church and members of executive committee of the Kurakaran Valiya veettil Kudumbayogan Puthenveedu branch.

He was buried at the Belivers church, Kunakkara at 11 am on 22nd June. He is survived by his wife Aleyamma, Member of Kuraakaran Valiyaveedu and a son Anil and four daughters Aani, Mariyamma, Achamma and Ambili.

Hundreads of people from the different walks of life paid them last respects. Kurakaran Family Association Members paid their last respects and participated the funeral functions in his home and church. Prof . John Kurakar, Sri K.C. George, Mr G. TRIBUTE TO KURAKARAN KOSHY CHACKO



Karickom Andoopoika kaleeckal Kurakaran Koshy Chacko(Age76) died on 12th June,2010.He was 76 age.He was the former executive Committee member of the Kurakaran Valiyaveettil Kudumbagoham- Padinjareveedu branch. He was buried at Ayppalloor Salem St. George Orthodox church at 2 p.m. He is survived by his wife Kunjamma and five sons Raju, Babu, Monachan,Ponnachan and mamachan and four daughters Molamma, Susama, Suma, Rosamma.
Houndreds of people from the different walks of life, including the office bearers of Kurakaran Family Association paid them lasst respects.
Kurakaran Valiyaveettil Kudumbayogam conducted a condolence meeting at Plavila Puthen veedu on 13th June,2010. A.C Thomas, President, Kudumbayogam presided over the condolence meeting. Retired Bank Officer Kurakaran Kochunnunni died on 7th may 2010. He was 63. He was the former General Secretary and Editorial Member of the Kurakaran Valiyaveetil Kudumbayogam. H e was also the Auditor of the St. Geroge Orthodox church and former secretary of YMCA, Karickom. Mr Kochunnunny had served indian Air Force also.He was actively served many charitale associations. He is survived by his wife Gracy Kutty a son Rense. K.K (Manoj) and two daughters Ancy Jose and Princy Saju.
The body laid at his home at 9 p.m Sunday 9th may,2010 for the public to pay last respects. Houndreads of people from different walks of life paid them last respects. He was buried at Ayppalloor Salem St. George Orthodox Church at 2 p.m. Kochunnunni's demise is an irreparable loss not only the Kurakaran Family but also the entire community. The family has lost a good organiser and an able secretary. Kurakaran Family Committee expressed grief over the passing away of Kurakaran Kochunnunni.

KURAKARAN WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION
GANDHI BHAVAN VISIT
Members of the Kurakaran Women’s Association visited Pathanapuram Ghandi Bhavan Charity Centre on 26th January, 2010, the Republic day. A team of 34 members started the journey from Kottarakara at 9.30 am and reached Ghandi Bhavan at 10.45 am. The members of the association interacted with the inmates and staff of the charity centre.
The members also actively participated in all religion cultural programmes at Ghandi Bhavan Hall. Sri Punaloor Somasakaran, Director of the Ghandi Bhavan welcomed the chief guests and Association members. Prof John Kurakar inaugurated the cultural meeting. Sri. K Prasad Achenkovil, Smt Chinnama John, President, Kurakaran Women’s Association, Prof Molly Kurakar were spoke on the occasion.

40th Annual function 2nd January,2010 at Kurakar City Centre



40th Annual function of Kurakaran Valiyaveettil Kudumba yogam was inaugurated by Rev Daniel Thomas, secretary of Marthoma Jubilee Mandiram. Sri Kurakaran A.C Thomas presided over the function. Prof John Kurakar inaugurated the Kala Mela. Dr N.N Murali released the Kudumba Deepam, the annual of family publication. Sri Jacob Mathew Kurakaran, chief editor Kudumba Deepam welcommed the gatherings. Sri G. Joy, Smt Chinnamma John, president Kurakaran womens association,sri C. TRIBUTE TO REV M.G THOMAS MULLAVELI


Rev M.G Thomas Mullaveli, 70 who died on Wednesday 13th January 2010. He was a renowned vicar of Marthoma church. He served as vicar in several church's in Sharja, UAE, Valakom, Kollam, Thevalakara, Kumali, Meeyannoor, Kaithakuzhi, Mylom, Karickom. He was the secretary of Thiruvananthapuram- Kollam District, council member of Marthoma church.
He is survived his wife Ammalkutty (Rt Teacher) and daughters Jibi, Sibi, Shibi. The body laid at his home and Karickom Marthoma church from 2 pm on saturday, 17th January for the public to pay last respects. Rev. M.G Thomas was buried at Karickom Marthoma church on saturday at 4 pm. Tens of thousands people from different walks of life paid their last respects to the renowned vicar
