 MONTHLY MEETING

The Monthly meeting of the Kurakaran Valiyaveettil Kudumbayogam was held on 2^nd November, 2013 at Pinaruvila P.G Achenkunju’s residence. Mr. Kurakaran A.C Thomas presided over the meeting .Prof. John Kurakar inaugurated the function. Mr. George Achenkunju presented the Monthly report. Mr. K.C George expressed vote of thanks

TRIBUTE PAID TO KIZHAKETHERUVU PULIPURAPUTHEN VEETTILKURAKARAN G. KURIKESU

Kottarakara Kizhakketheruvu Pulipura puthenveettil Kurakaran G. Kurikesu died on 18^th October 2013. He was 82  age.He was buried at  Kizhakketheruvu  St. George Orthodox Valiyapally  on 16^th October,2013.at 2p.m. He is survived by his wife  Sosamma (Chenkulam Thekke puthen veedu) and son Raju and for daughters Lilly kutty, Leelamma,Lissy, Susan. Inlaws:- Babu,Saju, Lalan, Lalu Rajan (Late) Hundreds of people from the different walks of life paid them last respects Among those who arrived to pay their last respects included  priests of  Orthodox Churches and other  other political leaders,Kurakaran Valiya veettil Kudumbayogam members , Kurakaran Women’s Association members, Kurakaran Cultural vedi members. Kurakaram Kudumbayogam arranged a condolence meeting at Kurakar Town center at 5 pm on 20th October. Prof. John Kurakar presided over the condolence meeting.

TEARFUL TRIBUTE PAID TO KURAKARAN K.PONNACHAN

Kottarakara Karickom Arappura Puthen veettil Kurakaran K. Ponnachan, Retired Manager,Union Bank of India died on 18^th September,2013 . He was 70 age He is surving his wife  Ammini kutty(Chowvalloor Vadasserivila family) and three daughters Sheena, Shibi and Shaani .Son In laws: Shaanu (Principal,Bishop-moor Vidyapeeddam, Kayamkulam) Mr. Anil (SBI Life, Mavalikara) and Sam ( Software Engg). He was buried at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on 19^th September,2013. Houndreads of people from the different walks of life paid him last respects. Mr K.Ponnachan’s body placed at his house for the near and dear to pay their last respects. The last journey from home by 1130 pm. The Funeral prayers at church lead by Parish Vicar and other preists and church leaders.
Among those who paid their last respects include Mr Kurakaran A.C Thomas, president, Kudumbayogam, Prof. John Kurakar, President, Kerala Kavya Kala Sahithy, Mr Thomas George, Mr Thomas Kurakar , Mr. George Achen kunju, Mr. Varghese Kurakar, Mr. P.M.G Kurakaran, Mr. Alex Mathew, Mr. K. Alexander and members of the Kurakaran Women's Association.Kurakaran Kudumba yogam arranged a condolence meeting at Padinjare veedu. Mr A.C Thomas Presided over the meeting. Prof John Kurakar, Jacob Mathew Kurakaran, Thomas Kurakara, P.M.G Kurakaran were spoke on the occasion.

The Monthly Executive Committee Meeting of the Kurakaran Valiyaveettil Kudumbayogam was held at Kottarakara Alakuzhi Puthenveettil Jose Abraham’s residence on 8^th September, 2013 at 3.45 P.M.The meeting began with prayer by Mr. Kurakaran A.C Thomas. Mr. Jose Abraham welcomed the members. Mr. Geroge Achenkunju presented the Monthly report. Mr. Kurakaran A.C Thomas, President of the Kudumbayogam presided. Prof. JohnKurakar inaugurated the meeting. Mr. Jacob Mathew Kurakaran, Mr. PMG Kurakaran, Mr. Rajan Philip, Mr. C.Varghese Kurakar, Mr. K.C Samuel, Mr. George Achenkunju, Mr. George Mathew, Mr. Joseph.K, Mr. P.A Alex, Mr. Arun Joseph, Mr. K.C George and Mr .Akhil Joseph also spoke on the occasion. Mr. K.C George expressed vote of thanks. The Meeting concluded at 5 P.M with prayer by Mr. P.A Alex
