FAMILY SEMINAR

Kurakaran Women’s Association was conducted its quarterly Family Seminar on 30^th August, 2014 at Kurakar Kochu veedu, Kizhakketheruvu. The seminar was began at 3.30P.M with prayer by Chinnamma John. Mrs. Valsama George welcomed the members. Mrs. Chinnamma John, President of the Women’s Association presided. Prof. John Kurakar inaugurated the seminar. Mr. K.C George, Mr. K.C Samuel, Prof. Molly Kurakar, Mrs. Gracykutty John, Mrs. Manju Achenkunju,Mrs. Sali Raju were spoke on the occasion. Kumari Aleena C. George,Kumari Neethu Johnson, were presented traditional prayer songs. Kurakar Cultural Forum Members decided to conduct Onam Celebration on 8^th September at Kurakaran Auditorium and study tour on 9^th at Themala-Palaruvi tourist centers. Mrs. Sali Raju presented the report. The family seminar was concluded at 5 P.M.

HALF YEARLY MEETING

The Half yearly meeting of the Kurakaran Valiyaveettil Kudumbayogam was held on 24^th August, 2014 at Karickom Padinjareveettil Mr. O.Mathew Kurakaran’s residence. The Meeting was began with prayer at 3 P.M by Mr. A.C Thomas Arappurayil. Mr. P.M.G Kurakaran  welcomed the Chief Guest and members. Prof. John Kurakar, President of the Kurakaran Kudumbayogam presided. The Secretary presented the monthly report.Dr. N.N Murali, Lions Club’s newly elected District Governor inaugurated the meeting. The Kudumbayogam presented awards and ponnada to Dr.N.N Murali, the newly elected Governor of the Lion’s Club. Mr. Cherian P. Koshy, (Scientist) Mrs. Chinnamma John, president of the Kurakaran Women’s Association, Mr. Thomas George, Mr. Jacob Mathew Kurakaran, Mr. K.C George, Mr. K.C Samuel, Mr. K. Yohannan,Mr. Koshy Kizhakkadethu, Mr. Mathew P. Babu, Mr. Santhosh Jacob were spoke on the occasion. 80 committee members activelyparticipated. The meeting was concluded at 5 P.M with by Mr. K Yohannan
