KURAKARAN KUDUMBAYOGAM MONTHLY (AUGUST-2013) MEETING

The Monthly (August-2013) meeting of the Kurakaran Valiyaveettil Kudumbayogam was held on 11^th August, 2013 at Karickom Andoopoika Padinjareveettil Koshy. P. Mathew’s residence. The meeting began at 3.45 p.m with prayer by Kurakaran A.C Thomas. Mr. Koshy P.Mathew welcomed the members. Mr. George
Achenkunju, General Secretary of the Kudumbayogam presented the monthly report. Prof. John Kurakar inaugurated the function. Mr. PMG Kurakaran, Mr. K. C George, Mr. P.A Alex, Mr. K.C Samuel, Mr.Bobby Kurakar, Mr. Abraham, Mr. Joseph, Mr. M.Mathew,Mr. Thomas Mathew, Mr.Alexander Mathew and Mr. Kunjumon Thomas spoke on the occasion

TVM VALIYAVEETTIL MARIAMMA GEEVARGHESE

Thiruvananthapuram -Kesavasapuram valiyaveettil  Mariamma Geevarghese, 78 age ,wife of Late  Mr. Geevarghee  died on 31st  July,2013. She is survived by three daughters, Thersiamma, Annamma, Aleyamma and two sons George Varghese and Thomas. In-laws:-Teri, Mr. P.Y Thomas, Jaya George and Mini Thomas. Ammachi’s body placed at her house for the near and dear to pay their last respects on 2^nd August,2013. Hundreds from all sections of the society

paid their last respects. The last journey from home began by 1.30 pm .Special funeral prayer at her house was lead by church Vicar and other priests of the various churches. Among those who paid their last respects to Ammachi on 2nd August,2013 ,include  Prof. John Kurakar,Mr. P.G Achen Kunju, Mr.Bobby Kurakar, Mr. T. Abraham, and Political and social leaders. The funeral was at Pattom St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 2.30 pm.

Kurakaran Valiyaveettil Kudumbayogam was arranged a condolence meeting at padinjare veedu. Mr A.C Thomas presided over the meeting.

Kottarakara Kizhakketheruvu Thoppilazhikathu veettil Sri Kurakaran T.K Thomas died on 30^th July, 2013. He was 77 age. He was worked several years in Gwalior Rayons. He is surving his wife Kunjannamma (Member of Nellippally Valiyaveedu) and two son Biju, Binu and a daughter Beeba . In laws: Bini,Seena and Joby. Hundreds of people from the different walks of life paid him last respects. Mr T.K Thomas's body placed at his house for the near and dear to pay their last respects. The last journey from home by 2.30 pm. Prayers at church lead by His Grace Dr. Yuhanon Mar Thevothorus, Parish Vicar and other priests of Various churches. He was buried at St.George Orthodox Church,Kizhekketheruve at 3.pm on 1^st August,2013. Among those who paid their last respects include Mr Kurakaran A.C Thomas, president, Kudumbayogam, Prof. John Kurakar, Chief Editor, Kudumba Deepam,,  Mr. Bobby Kurakar, Mr. PG. Achenkunju, Mr. K.C George, Mr. T. Abraham, Mr. Thomas Alex, Prof. Molly Kurakar Mr. Koshy Kizhakkedethu, Mr. K.K Joy, Mr. PMG Kurakar, Mr. Varghese Kurakar  Mrs. Chinama John, President,Kurakaran Women's Association.
